Is it safe for my engine and warranty?
Yes. The controller only reshapes the pedal signal within the limits your ECU already allows. It doesn’t remap the engine, touch fuelling or override safety systems, and it can be unplugged at any time, leaving the car exactly as it was.
Will it fit my car?
Windbooster GT uses a connector matched to your specific vehicle, and we stock connectors for most cars sold in India. If yours isn’t listed, send us photos of your pedal coupler and we’ll make one, usually within a few weeks.
Does it add horsepower?
No. It removes the delay in delivering the power your engine already makes, so the car feels quicker to respond. Top-end power is unchanged.
Can I use it with a remap or other performance parts?
Yes, and they work well together. A remap changes fuelling, timing and boost, while Windbooster controls pedal response, letting you soften or sharpen an aggressive tune to suit the conditions.
Why does the app need location permission?
Android requires location permission for any app that scans for Bluetooth devices. We don’t track where you are. If the controller won’t connect, enabling location for the app usually fixes it.
Can someone steal the car if Lock mode is on?
Lock mode is not an immobiliser. The engine still starts, and the car can still be moved at idle speed, so treat it as a strong deterrent rather than a lock on the wheels.
What it stops is acceleration. The throttle does not respond at all, so the car cannot be driven at any normal speed until your passcode releases it in the app.
